Check out a couple of examples of what I can do in the realm of Social Media and Copywriting! As a writer to the core, I find it exciting to be able to into the voice of a brand or company and help develop compelling words that can get audiences engaged and hungry for more. I've been exposed to social media analytics tools such as Hootsuite and HubSpot, and am confident in my skills to be able to help cultivate growth strategies.
ORANGE Magazine
I had the privilege of being a social media staffer for two years on ORANGE Magazine, a student publication at The University of Texas at Austin specializing in digital content. While there, I shared the responsibility of writing copy for, analyzing audience metrics and forming strategies to grow our platforms, and of course, posting on our social media in promotion of our magazine. OhThePeopleYouMeet
I worked as a Social Media Editor for an editorial content site dedicated to travelers and philanthropists. While my main responsibilities included editing short-form videos for Instagram and Facebook (ranging from 20k-50k views per video!), I also had the opportunity to practice my copywriting for a few Instagram posts as well.
